Day 1 - ALL DAY ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK Your safari
guide will meet you in Arusha in the morning. Transfer the
short distance to Arusha National Park. Spend the morning on a
game drive, with a picnic lunch, then venture out on an
unusual
2.5 hour canoe safari on Momella Lakes - this gives you a
chance to observe over 600 species of birds as well as the
bigger animals, not to mention a view of Mts Meru and Kilimanjaro simultaneously!
Transfer to Tarangire sopa lodge
Day 2 - ALL DAY TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK Spend all day
exploring Tarangire, one of Tanzania's least-visited Parks,
with a picnic lunch en route. Look out for the large herds of
elephants for which this Park is renowned. Based at Tarangire
sopa lodge

Day 3 - TARANGIRE TO LAKE MANYARA and TO LAKE EYASI
Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. Afternoon game drive,
then transfer to manyara serena lodge, where you will
have dinner and overnight.

Day 4 - LAKE EYASI
Breakfast , then a morning game drive - you will see
thousands of Lesser East African Flamingos which make the lake
look pink! This whole area is a photographer's paradise.
Return for lunch back at the Tented Camp. After lunch transfer
to Lake Eyasi, home of the Hadzabe tribe. Spend the afternoon
exploring the lake.
Dinner and overnight at kisima ngda camp.

Day 5 - LAKE EYASI TO NGORONGORO Spend the morning on an
exciting hunt with the Hadzabe tribe - no two experiences are
ever the same! You can stay behind them and watch, or actively
take part
- if you can keep up! Return to the Tented Camp for lunch,
then transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA), and
game drive/transfer through the rainforest to the crater rim.
Take an armed ranger for your protection and walk part of the
way around the crater rim, giving you unparalleled views
across and down into the crater. In the afternoon transfer to
Ngorongoro crater lodge on the crater rim, where you will have dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - ALL DAY NGORONGORO CRATER Leisurely breakfast,
then descend the 600 meters down to the crater floor for a
6-hour (the maximum permitted time) game drive, with picnic
lunch. The crater is famous for its large mammal populations -
keep an eye out for the elusive black rhino; there are around 22 in the crater.
Most of the elephant you see will be bulls as females tend to
avoid the area due to its having the highest predator density
in Africa.
As the sun begins to set leave the crater and return to your
hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - NGORONGORO TO SERENGETI An early start. A full
day of game viewing, starting with the amazing drive through
the NCA with a short stop at Olduvai Gorge for a visit to the
early hominid museum.
Explore around Lake Ndutu with a picnic lunch,
time-permitting, then enter the Serengeti. Continue on a game
drive through the Seronera Plains, ending at Seronera campsite
in the late afternoon, where you will have dinner and
overnight in the heart of the park Kirawira lodge.
Go to sleep surrounded by the sounds of the African night!

Day 8 -ALL DAY SERENGETI You have the option of
beginning your day with a fantastic sunrise balloon safari
over the plains, including a champagne breakfast in the bush
when you land ($480pp extra). A full day to explore the
Serengeti, with picnic lunch as you go, or returning to the
camp for lunch if you prefer. Although predicting the
movements of the famous wildebeest migration is not an exact
science, you have a good chance of seeing this unforgettable
spectacle at this time of year, especially in the Western
Corridor. In the evening transfer kirawira lodge, in the
, for dinner and overnight.If you are not too
tired you have the option of an exciting night game drive, to
look for the more elusive animals of the region.

Day 9 - SERENGETI TO KINIGI A final morning game drive
in the Serengeti, then game drive/transfer to Seronera
airstrip, where you will catch the 13.55 flight back to Kigali
in Rwanda, arriving at 18.30 (17.30 Kigali time). Take a
packed lunch with you to enjoy on your flight. You will be met
at the airport and transferred directly to Kinigi (PNV).
Overnight at Mountain Gorilla's Nest.

Day 10 - ALL DAY GORILLA TREKKING A full day to search
for the gorillas. Based at Mountain Gorilla's Nest.

Day 11 - ALL DAY GORILLA TREKKING A second day gorilla
trekking. In the late afternoon transfer to Kigali to take the
19:00 h plain
