Day 1: Arrival Nairobi
Pick up from JKIA Airport Transfer Panafric Hotel, where
you will have an overnight. B/B
Day 2: Samburu
After breakfast pick up from the Hotel, Transfer to Wilson
Airport to board the Flight to Samburu at 0915Hrs, arrive
at Samburu at 1030Hrs pick up from the Airstrip transfer
to the Lodge, Samburu National Reserve cross Equator,
travel through changing landscapes to the rugged-semi
region, though harsh but having unique species like the
unusual reticulated giraffe, grevy's Zebra, Beisa, oryx,
gerenuk. These species are rarely found elsewhere. The
bird life is especially notable. lunch will be served
at the Lodge. In the afternoon game drive at the Park
drive back to the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Samburu
Game Lodge.
Day 3: Samburu
Full day at the Park with game drives, gazing out over
the river, the rooms at Samburu Game Lodge are a place
to unwind after a long day on a safari. Your journey will
still continue from the surroundings of your room, as
you can watch the crocodiles in the river and the elephants
on the opposite bank from your window. Local artwork decorates
each room: duom palm seeds hang on the walls, lampshades
are fabricated from Kenyan tree leaves, and authentic
Samburu stones form the smooth floor. Dinner and Overnight
at Samburu Game Lodge .
Day 4: Samburu - Flight - Maasai Mara
After breafast relax at the Lodge, Later transfer to the
Airstrip to board the flight to Maasai Mara via Nairobi
at 1110Hrs, arrive at Maasai Mara National Reserve which
is famous for it's great herds of wild game. All animals
found in Kenya among the "big five" are found
here, 1345Hrs, Upon arrival wildreness crew will later
transfer you to Keekorok Lodge where you will have lunch,
In the afternoon game drives back to the Lodge for dinner
and overnight at Keekork Lodge
Day 5: Maasai Mara
From the Lodge, we explore the Mara region, packed with
the elephant, zebra, rhino and all kinds of game through
out the year with the spectacular wildebeest migration
from Serengeti occurring mainly in July and August. Being
at Maasai Mara is "as if you found yourself in the
New York of the natural world according to some authorities".
Indeed you have the best opportunity of seeing all the
big five. Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge.
Day 6: Maasai Mara - Flight
- Nairobi
After breakfast relax at the Lodge, Later pick up and
Transfer to the Aistrip where you will board the flight
back to Nairobi at 1100Hrs arriving Nairobi at 1215Hrs.
Our driver will be waiting for you, later transfer to
the Hotel in Nairobi or Transfer to JKIA Airport to board
the flight back home.
