Day 1: Arrival - Kampala
On your arrive at Entebbe Airport, Uganda, met and assisted.
Transfer to Hotel Africana for the night on half board
in readiness for the next day's journey to Bwindi Impenetrable
for gorilla tracking, Overnight at Hotel Africana. D.
Day 2: Kampala - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Morning breakfast then take a 5 hour road transfer on
a very good road to the edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable
Forest Home to the Mountain Gorillas. In the evening,
take to the Munyaga Trail to explore the Freshness of
the Forest on a Nature walk along the River Munyaga. Dinner
and overnight at Lake Kitandara Tented Camp, B,L,D.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking
After an early morning breakfast, you will be given briefing
and set off for your Gorilla tracking activity in the
forests of Bwindi. Gorilla tracking can be strenuous,
you will need to carry a packed lunch, drinking water,
wear comfortable boots or jungle shoes suitable for steep
muddy slopes, put on ear plugs for those who feel uncomfortable
with jungle sounds and take a rain jacket. Walking sticks
will be made available for those that require one by the
park rangers. Dinner and overnight at Lake Kitandara Tented
Camp, B,L,D.
Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable - Mbarara
Travel to Kabale for lunch at the Lake Bunyonyi where
you could also take an optional Canoe ride to explore
the many Islands. Later depart to Mbarara arriving for
dinner and night stay at the Rwizi Arch Hotel, B,L,D.
Day 5: Mbarara - Kampala - Nairobi
Drive back to Kampala for lunch. Later transfer to Entebbe
Airport for your flight to Nairobi. Met and assisted.
Transfer to Nairobi Safari Club for the night on bed and
breakfast B,L.
Day 6: Nairobi - Amboseli
Distance: 250 km (4 hrs.) Drive south to Amboseli National
Park. Game viewing en route to your lodge with the immense
grandeur of Mt Kilimanjaro in the background. Amboseli
National Park, at the foot of Africa's highest mountain,
5895m Kilimanjaro, is one of the most popular of Kenya's
national parks. Amboseli National Park provides the classic
Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery
it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped
peak of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at 5,896 meters, is the
highest free-standing mountain in the world. Against this
magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephant accompanied
by lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo
and wildebeest. There are also over 400 species of birds,
all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the
most soul-searing views in Africa. Dinner and overnight
at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, B,L,D.
Day 7: Amboseli National Park
Full day in Amboseli with game drives in the morning and
afternoon. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge,
B,L,D.
Day 8: Nairobi - Mount Kenya
After breakfast, drive to Mount Kenya via Nairobi and
towards Central Kenya highlands arriving at Mountain Lodge.
The only 'tree hotel' ever to be built on the slopes of
Kenya's legendary Mount Kenya, Mountain Lodge offers a
matchless game viewing opportunity whilst combining a
glorious panorama of mountain vistas with the primordial
splendors of an ancient rainforest. Floating 2,195 m high

Day 9: Mount Kenya - Samburu Game Reserve
Depart further north past the equator to Samburu arriving
at Samburu Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Samburu National
Reserve, a place of endless skies, dust-red plains and
palm-fringed rivers, lies on the fringes of the vast and
arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District,
whose heat-scorched scrublands extend beyond the jade-green
waters of Lake Turkana. Samburu provides one of the few
sanctuaries in Kenya for the endangered Grevy zebra, the
rare beisa oryx and the blue-shanked Somali ostrich whilst
large herds of elephant roam the gaunt hills. Afternoon
game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa
Lodge, B,L,D.
Day 10: Samburu Game Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu. Meals and
overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge, B,L,D.
Day 11: Samburu - Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary
Breakfast and departure to this private game sanctuary.
Afternoon is free for optional activities as game viewing,
walking safaris or night game drives. Includes visit to
chimpanzee sanctuary. The sanctuary also boasts of "The
Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo)
plus an exciting catalogue of; giraffe, zebra, eland,
oryx, waterbuck, Grant's gazelle, Thompson's gazelle,
cheetah, silver-backed jackal, hartebeest, baboon and
several hundred bird species. Sweetwaters Tented Camp
is designed to offer a charming blend of under canvas
ambiance and uncompromising luxury. One of only four private
game reserves in Kenya, it also allows such unforgettable
pleasures as night game drives, guided bush walks and
both horse or camel riding across its game-teaming plains.

Day 12: Sweetwaters - Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart to Lake Nakuru National Park via Nyahururu Falls
to arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
Set on a plateau in an elevation above Lake Nakuru , Sarova
Lion Hill Game Lodge has 67 chalets all overlooking the
lake, within the Lake Nakuru National Park . It is the
perfect place to experience one of the world's largest
ornithological spectacles, The Pink Flamingo, or a rich
concentration of wildlife including black and white colobus
monkey and is also a famed Rhino Sanctuary. In the afternoon
proceed on a game drive in this famous ornithological
spectacle for flamingoes. Dinner and overnight at Sarova
Lion Hill Lodge, B,L,D.
Day 13: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara
Drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for
lunch. Masai Mara National Reserve is a pristine wilderness
of haunting beauty, it promises its visitors a profusion
of wildlife, prolific bird life and the unprecedented
opportunity of catching up with all the members of the
'Big Five' in one morning. The 1,800 sq kilometres of
this veteran reserve offers the classic mix of African
imagery; miles of lion-gold grasslands, shoals of lilac-misted
hills, a meandering river, acres of thorn-bush and mile
upon mile of undulating wilderness. Dinner and overnight
stay at Mara Sopa Lodge, B,L,D.
Day 14, 15 & 16: Maasai Mara
Three full days in the Masai Mara. Each day with morning
and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight stay
at Mara Sopa Lodge, B,L,D.

Day 17: Masai Mara - Nairobi - Zanzibar
Drive back to Nairobi to arrive in the afternoonfor lunch
at the famous game meat restaurant, The Carnivore Restaurant.
Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your
outbound flight to the Spice Island of Zanzibar. Met and
transferred to Zanzibar Beach Resort on half board. Zanzibar
Beach Resort, formerly called Fisherman's Resort, is set
in a prime position, just five minutes drive from Zanzibar
Airport and ten minutes drive to Stone Town, Seaport/Shopping
Centers and Government Offices in the West coast of Zanzibar,
B,L,D.
Day 18 - 22: Zanzibar
Take a morning Stone Town tour and Spice plantation tour.
Leisure and relaxation at your hotel on half board, Zanzibar
Beach Resort, F, B,D.
Day 23: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi
to catch your flight back home, B.
