Amboseli are the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro. The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. Day 1. AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Leave Nairobi and drive south through Maasailand to Amboseli. Short game drive enroute to campsite arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at amboseli campsite.

Day 2. AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Early morning game viewing , Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast proceed for mid-morning game viewing, Return to campsite for lunch. After lunch break to let the dust settle, Evening game drive . Dinner and overnight at amboseli campsite.


Day 3. NAIROBI
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast, Break up the camp then proceed for another game drive enroute to Namanga border, Lunch enroute. Arrive Nairobi in the afternoon.

A safari to the north via the high shoulder of Mountain Kenya to the Game Reserve of Samburu. Here the Ewaso Nyiro River supports a wide variety of game among them elephant, buffalo, cheetah leopard, lion, grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, oryx and the long necked gerenuk. Day 1 - Nakuru
Pick up from your Hotel by 7.30 A.m, we drive down the Escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to the Lake Nakuru. Lunch at the Lodge followed by an extensive afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight Hotel outside the Park or inside Lake Nakuru Guest house.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha
After an early break fast drive to Lake Naivasha with a stop over for a picnic lunch enroute. Brief stop over to view the Great Rift Valley at view point before getting into Naivasha for a Sundowner boat ride to Crescent Island well known for its birdlife. Dinner and overnight Naivasha Camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara

Day 1, Lake Baringo
From Nairobi we pause to view the spectacular Rift Valley from the top of an escarpment, dotted with its string of lakes, that is a great introduction to the natural beauty of the region. Day 2, Lake Bogoria /Nakuru
From Baringo it's a short drive to Lake Bogoria, a shallow soda lake set amidst beautiful scenery. Like the other Kenyan soda lakes, it has no outlet and the intense evaporation leads to high levels of salt and minerals, which flamingos love and from a distance the surface of the water appears bright pink. Next to the lake are steaming hot springs and geysers, but don't be tempted to put your hands into the water if you are at all fond of your skin!
