An
African safari touches something deep within all of us;
for it is an experience that will never be forgotten.
The following safari combines intriguing cultures, beautiful
landscapes and an excellent opportunity for spotting the
Big 5, elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard. The
driver-guides are all very experienced and will certainly
make this safari feel special.
Day
1 Nairobi
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Safari
Park Hotel.

2 Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, travel towards Kenya's highlands and
head down the Rift Escarpment across the valley to Narok,
before reaching the Masai Mara in time for lunch, followed
by an afternoon game drive. The Mara Sopa Lodge is set
in the Oloolaimutia Valley.

3 Masai Mara National Reserve
Early morning and afternoon game drives.

4 Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, head north to Narok. Travel across the
the Rift Valley, before arriving at Lake Nakuru Lodge
for lunch. The waters here are often coloured flamingo
pink, from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its
shores. After lunch, take an afternoon game drive in Nakuru
National Park. Lake Nakuru Lodge is situated in the heart
of one of Kenya's most densely populated wetland National
Parks.

5 Lake Nakuru - Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch. Continue
towards Nairobi and head south towards Amboseli. Take
an afternoon game drive en-route to your lodge, arriving
in the evening. Amboseli Sopa Lodge is set on 200 acres
of private land on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

6 Amboseli National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli.

7 Amboseli – Lake Manyara
After breakfast, continue to the Tanzania border and on
to Arusha for lunch. Drive across the Masai Steppe to
the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara Serena Lodge overlooks
both the Great Rift Valley, and the beautiful soda lake
of Manyara. Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. B,

Day
8 Lake Manyara - Serengeti
After breakfast, take a game drive in Lake Manyara National
Park returning to the lodge for lunch. Continue north
west and into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and here
lie the vast plains of the Serengeti. The Serengeti Sopa
Lodge is located in the Nyarboro Hills in the south west
of the Serengeti National Park.

9 Serengeti National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National
Park.

10 Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro, stopping off at
Olduvai Gorge en route. After a picnic lunch, continue
to your lodge. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is located on Lemala
Hill. The views into the crater floor are spectacular
and sunsets magnificent. With an altitude of 2,375 metres,
the lodge experiences cool and even cold weather during
the winter months of June and July when temperatures can
get as low as 10C.

11 Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro
Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera
and is also one of the world’s seven natural wonders.
Return to the lodge for lunch followed by an excursion
of a Masaai Village. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

12 Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, head south east en-route to Lake Manyara,
Mto wa Mbu village and Tarangire. Turn south on to the
main Arusha – Dodoma road and into the park. Enjoy
a game drive en route to your lodge. After lunch, the
remainder of the afternoon will be spent on a game drive.

Day
13 Tarangire National Park - Nairobi
Depart Tarangire after breakfast and drive back to Arusha.
Continue by road to Nairobi arriving late afternoon and
proceed for dinner in Nairobi city centre before drop
off at JKIA airport or city centre hotel. End of services.
